Half a Million Pages in Auraria Library Digital Collections!

Well, technically 510,473 pages, but that number doesn't have quite the same ring to it. What constitutes a page? A page is literally a page image in a digitized book or a single photograph. So, we have over half a million of those! Some other boast-worthy stats about our repository:
- 5,694 titles and 7,397 individual items
- 101,779 views in March 2017 (our best single month!)
- 1,420,172 total views over the life of the repository (since April 2014) …

Digital Collections: First Phase of Minoru Yasui Collection now online!

The first phase of what will surely be a years-long effort in digitizing the Minoru Yasui Collection is now in the Auraria Library Digital Collections. The latest oddity to be added to the Auraria Library Digitial Collections is Histoire de France: par l'Image et l'Observation directe, a comic-form history of France published in 1923. The CU Denver 4244/5244 - History Museums, Exhibits, and Education class recently took on the task of digitally telling the history of Auraria. Students from Dr. Rebecca A. Hunt’s class explored resources in Auraria Library’s Special Collections for historical information and images to complete three projects.
