IBIS World Industry Research Reports provides access to over 12,000 reports about U.S. industries. Each report consists of 30 to 40 pages of key statistics and analysis on market characteristics, operating conditions, current and forecast performance, major industry participants and more.
Why should you use it?
IBIS World provides unique content about how industries perform. It includes data about revenue, employees, number of businesses, profit, profit margin, wages, industry structure, products and services, major players, and SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats). You can search by industry, keyword, company, or NAICS code.
Who should use it?
Students and faculty in business, marketing, finance, and other related disciplines would find the database most helpful. Entrepreneurs interested in learning about products, markets, companies, and competitors related to their business would also find this of interest.
