On January 8th beginning at 12:00 MST ILLiad – the software used for requesting and managing Interlibrary Loan requests – will be upgraded to the latest version. We expect the service to be unavailable for a few hours that afternoon, but access should be restored by the end of the day.
Once upgraded, all ILLiad users will be prompted to update their password upon their first log in. This is because the new ILLiad software is using a stronger encryption to protect account security. The password requirements will be to have at least 8 characters including at least one letter, one number, and one symbol (such as: ! @ # $ % ^).
All other account information, including active requests and request history will remain unchanged.
