Role in the Library

Kodi Saylor is the Instruction Program Lead Librarian. Responsible for leading programmatic information literacy instruction for the Auraria Library, she manages all library instruction related processes for both in-person and online instruction. 

More About

Kodi is a poet and a librarian interested in how people use information in their everyday lives, especially when creating art. Her work as a teaching librarian centers around supporting students and their information literacy. While Kodi began as the First-Year Teaching & Learning Librarian at Auraria Library, she is now the Instruction Program Lead Librarian. Her background working with first year students in the classroom gives her perspective on what skills and knowledge practices students find useful. 

Education

Kodi holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a Master's of Fine Art in Poetry from New York University.
