Come celebrate National Poetry Month with a reading at Auraria Library! The reading will feature students and faculty from Metropolitan State University of Denver, Community College of Denver, and University of Colorado Denver including Brian Barker, Dr. Alicita Rodriguez, Charlotte Annie, Robert Kloss, Grace Wagner, Bret McCauley, and Steven Vigil-Roach.

We recently digitized Milton's Paradise Lost with Illustrations by Gustave Doré. This 1898 edition of John Milton's epic 17th century poem is one of several in our collection illustrated by legendary French artist, painter, printmaker, and engraver, Gustave Doré.
