As an essential contributor to downtown Denver education and culture, the Auraria Library has been awarded a $10,000 grant by Kroenke Sports Charities.
Associate Director of Administrative and Operational Services Dawn Zoni represented the Library at a Jan. 10 Denver Nuggets game during which a select group of Denver metro area organizations were honored at center court.
“We are grateful to Kroenke Sports Charities for their support of the Auraria Library’s mission,” said Library Director Cinthya Ippoliti. “This is a valuable vote of confidence in our faculty and staff’s efforts to serve tens of thousands of Auraria Campus students every day.”
Kroenke Sports Charities is a Denver philanthropic organization associated with the company that owns sports and entertainment enterprises that include the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche as well as Ball Arena, the home venue for these two teams adjacent to the Auraria Campus. This Auraria Library grant was one of 25 $10,000 commitments to local organizations in honor of Ball Arena’s 25th Anniversary in 2024.
