New Year, New Tools: Access The New York Times

We get it: Keeping those new year resolutions can be tough. That’s why we’re highlighting three new tools available from your Auraria Library in our New Year, New Tools series. Whether you’re a student, faculty, or staff of the Auraria Campus— these tools will get your new year off to a great start!

First Tool: Staying informed this new year is easy with free access to The New York Times, provided by the Auraria Library.

Access full current and historical content of The New York Times including news articles, analysis, documentaries, podcasts, special editions, and immersive multimedia features including The 1619 Project and The Privacy Project.

Faculty members will also enjoy exploring the NYTimes in Education website, providing curated synopses connecting the news to specific areas of study and exclusive content aggregated by keyword. Find current news topics to connect to your teaching and course material to provide real-world examples for your students.

“The New York Times creates many special reports and multimedia features which provide deep analyses about specific topics— a boon to student, faculty, and staff research.”

Kelly McCusker, Scholarly Communication and Collection Development Program Lead at Auraria Library
