Theater Curtain: New Database Trials

The Auraria Library is currently conducting two free theatre database trials:  National Theatre Collection and Stratford Shakespeare Festival Collection.  If acquired, these streaming video performances would support the various theatre programs and classes on campus.  Both are listed in our Databases page.  I am soliciting feedback on these two trials; you can use the Trial Feedback links provided for this purpose.  Alternatively, you can send comments directly to me at Orlando.Archibeque@ucdenver.edu.

National Theatre Collection Trial  Trial Period: Jan 25, 2021 - Feb 27, 2021

Drawing on 10 years of the Royal National Theatre Live (United Kingdom) broadcasts (also known as NT Live), alongside high-quality archive recordings never previously seen outside of the Royal National Theatre’s Archive, the National Theatre Collection is now complete and contains 30 filmed performances. Includes Comedies, 20th Century Classics and Modern Plays, Shakespeare Plays, Literary Adaptations and Inspirations, and Greek Classics and World Historical Drama.
