The Ask Us Desk is centrally located on the first floor of the Library, and can easily be accessed from both Lawrence street or 10th street entrance.
The Assistive Technology Workroom is located on the first floor of the Library, and can easily be accessed from the Lawrence street entrance.
The Library has three Classrooms on the first floor: Collaborative Classroom (room 116), the Engaged Learning Classroom (room 111), and general Classroom (room 127).
There are 3 Computer Labs in the Library. North Computing, South Computing, and Research Computing are located on the first floor.
The Digital Media Studio (room 129) is located close to the study rooms and the Research Computing area on the first floor.
There are 12 study rooms in the Library. 4 rooms (130a, 130b, 120c, 130d) are in the southeast corner of the 1st floor.
6 rooms (210a, 210b, 210c, 210d, 210e, 21of) are in the northwest corner of the 2nd floor, and 2 more rooms (210g, 210h) are on the west side of the 2nd floor. The Room 210h is designated for students with disabilities. Please contact the Ask Us Desk to reserve room 210h.
The Hybrid Learning Hub is located on the first floor along the 10th Street side of the building and near the 10th street entrance.
I am Auraria is situated at the heart of the Library’s first floor, and right across from the Ask Us Desk.
The Innovation Garage (room 102) is located on the first floor. After entering the building from the 10th Street Entrance, it is the first room on your left.
The Library has two research consultation rooms available: room 126 and room 128. Both rooms are located in the southeast corner of the first floor, and close to the Research Computing area.
The newly renovated Special Collections' reading room, located on the second floor, is open to anyone who wishes to make use of Special Collections' unique holdings.
The Deep Quiet Study (room 250) is located on the Library’s second floor, in the southeast corner.
Assitive Technology Workstations: Auraria Library has six Assistive Technology Workstations. On the first floor, there are 3 in the North Computing and 1 in the South Computing. On the second floor, there is one in the West Computing and 1 ADA/Assistive workstation in study room 210h. Please contact the Ask Us Desk for assistance with booking the assistive technology workstations.

The Ask Us Service Desk is located on the first floor of the Library and provides in-person help by answering questions about the Library, Campus, or three Institutions. This service also loans anatomical items, technology items (such as phone charges and calculators), plus course reserves, or textbooks, for some classes.
Research Consultations
Research consultations are for in-depth and lengthy discussions about research questions. Please use Schedule a Research Consultation Form to request an appointment. We can help you out via Zoom or over the phone. Due to the level of preparation needed, appointments should be made 48 hours in advance. If you need immediate help, please use our 24/7 chat service.
