Yep, we’ve got books—over 500,000 that you can hold, and more than 2 million (including e-books) that you can read. But the Auraria Library’s services and resources go way beyond the printed page. Every day, we work across oh-so-many fronts to serve the Auraria Campus community and stay ahead of evolutions in learning, teaching, and technology. 

Get to know the many ways, as you settle in for the 2024-25 schoolyear, the Auraria Library can power up your thinking and doing—including these eight:

  1. Research Databases…: Your Auraria Library access opens the door to more than 200 specialized databases: From human rights to hospitality to homeland security, you’ll find deep wells of exclusive information on a vast array of topics.  
  2. …and more Research Services: Do your sources a solid and get the fine points right with our popular Citation Builder tool, dive deep on your discipline with topic-specific Research Guides, and get personal guidance by scheduling an in-person or virtual Research Consultation. 
  3. Innovation Garage: You can 3D-print a keychain, print large-format posters, design and create your own vinyl stickers, and more in our Innovation Garage 1st floor creative collab space. 
  4. Grab-to-Go: You can pick up reserved circulating items at any hour of the day—or night—at one of the 33 Grab-to Go lockers at our 10th Street entrance. 
  5. That Does Compute: Over 120 computers are available for use in our three computing areas, including several with assistive technology—consistent with the Auraria Library’s goal to be accessible to all. Ask Us collection. Indiana Bones
  6. Ask Us Collection: At our 1st floor Ask Us desk, you can check out anatomical models (say hi to Indiana Bones for us), WiFi hotspots, bicycle locks, even laptops and tablets. 
  7. Library Café: Grab an affordable burrito or beverage, and settle in for a stretch at this perfect landing spot between classes or for meet-ups. 
  8. 24/7 Chat Help: We connect with an international network of librarians available at any time to answer your research question by chat.
