New Special Collections Coloring Book!

As part of a new semesterly tradition, Special Collections has released a brand new coloring book about frontier-era Denver! Using illustrations from James Otis's 1912 work of historical fiction, Seth of Coloradothis new coloring book features images of early Denver streetscapes, wagon trains, landscapes, and myriad other scenes of classic Western Americana. The illustrator of the work is not known but was likely someone who worked with James Otis on one of the dozens of children's books he penned during his decades-long career. The coloring book is available for download by visiting the digitized book in the Auraria Library Digital Collections.

You may also find copies of it around the library throughout the Fall 2017 semester. For your convenience and enjoyment, colored pencils are available for checkout at the AskUs desk.
