Role in the Library

Karen is a Professor and an an Online Teaching and Learning Librarian. With an emphasis on online learning, she teaches information literacy sessions, creates digital learning objects, consults with course instructors on Open Educational Resources, and provides research assistance to students, faculty, and staff. 

More About

Karen is a native Marylander. She has been a part of the Auraria Library since 2008. She holds Master's degrees in Library Science and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity from the University of Colorado Denver. She earned her tenure from the university in 2014.
