Planning to stop by our Library Cafe? Great! Things are a bit different thanks to COVID-19, but we’re working hard to create an inviting place to relax, get work done, and access resources— all while following safety guidelines. 

Here’s what IS and IS NOT available in our Library Café:

What IS available:

General Use:

  • Restrooms 
  • Wifi 
  • Check out materials with Grab-to-Go 
  • Printing 
  • Microform Scanning 
  • Anatomical Models
  • Computer Chargers
  • Headphones

Computing:

Windows 10 Laptops featuring: 

Windows 10 ADA PC featuring: 

  • All previous software plus: 
  • Dragon (Speak Recognition) 
  • Jaws (Screen Reader) 
  • ZoomText (Screen Magnification)

What IS NOT available:

  • The Library Café is not serving food or beverages for consumption inside the café. 
  • There is no space for collaboration or teamwork inside the café. All persons must be six feet apart. Outside tables are available to utilize as a collaboration space. 
  • There is no access to the rest of the library. Please use our Grab-to-Go service to check out materials.

  • Visit the Ask Us Desk
    The Ask Us Service Desk is located on the first floor of the Library and provides in-person help by answering questions about the Library, Campus, or three Institutions. This service also loans anatomical items, technology items (such as phone charges and calculators), plus course reserves, or textbooks, for some classes. Please visit the Auraria Library COVID-19 Updates for information about when this service will be available.

  • Research Consultations
    Research consultations are for in-depth and lengthy discussions about research questions. Please use Schedule a Research Consultation Form to request an appointment. We can help you out via Zoom or over the phone. Due to the level of preparation needed, appointments should be made 48 hours in advance. If you need immediate help, please use our 24/7 chat service.
